In this dynamic position, you will engage with donors, adopters, and the community to advance our fundraising efforts, assist with executing donor engagement strategies, and ensure the smooth operation of development activities. As part of our development team, you’ll manage stewardship programs, organize donor communications, support events, and help maintain accurate donor records in our CRM. Your administrative expertise will also be key in ensuring productive internal communication, meeting coordination, and tracking department budgets. Purpose of Position: The Development Associate will engage donors, adopters, and the community in advancing the organizational mission. The position supports and assists with executing all aspects of Dumb Friends League Development strategies including growth in new donor acquisition, increasing donor retention, benefits fulfillment, donor communications and engagement strategies, and ensuring productive and efficient departmental communication processes to maximize resources and broaden fundraising capacity. The Development Associate will provide support and key activations to ensure efficient operations and assist in reaching revenue and community stewardship goals.

Gigi’s is adding new programming to offer low-cost veterinary services to high-quality rescues and we’re expanding our veterinary team (all positions.) As a Team Gigi’s REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, you’ll get to: assist with surgery, dentistry, and preventative medical care for in-house population as well as partner owned dogs, including learning, and performing diagnostics. provide quality service to staff, partners, and volunteers. learn and set a high standard for quality dog care, health, and behavior assess overall dog health for healthy placement with homes or other adoption centers. provide emergency care; reporting changes or concerns in dog care, health, or behavior. serve on team responsible for the care, monitoring, and diagnostics in Gigi’s Parvovirus Treatment Center. clean, sanitize, and disinfect dog living spaces when needed, following Gigi’s safety protocols for people and dogs. give vaccinations and treatments for healthy, sick, and injured dogs as necessary. helps with pharmaceutical inventory management, monitoring, ordering, and control. assists with the foster program as needed. participate on team responsible for euthanasia implementation as necessary represents Gigi’s in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Actively supports staff and promotes the development of skills related to the advancement of our goals and mission. Other duties as assigned? Absolutely.
