Shelter/Clinic Veterinarian
Description
The Shelter/Clinic Veterinarian, under the direction of the Clinic Medical Director, provides medical and surgical services to the animals in the clinic, shelter, and rehab. The Shelter/Clinic Veterinarian is also responsible for supervising the technical aspects of the technicians and assistants.

The Shelter/Clinic Veterinarian will be a highly experienced, energetic, and fully engaged shelter veterinarian who has a vision and passion for the humane and ethical treatment of animals and is willing to support access to care within the community. A successful candidate will facilitate open communication to harmonize veterinary staff, the public and other constituencies with whom he/she will interface. The person we seek should demonstrate an interest in shelter medicine and must be articulate and passionate about the humane treatment of animals. The candidate should be motivated by the best interests of the organization and be committed to a high-volume practice where veterinarians play a vital role.
