Dr. Cristine Hayes, DVM, DABT, DABVT, Senior Toxicologist, ASPCA
Dr. Cristine Hayes received her DVM from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She worked in a private small animal practice for 2 years, treating dogs, cats, and exotic companion and zoo animals. She began working for the Animal Poison Control Center in 2006. In 2015, Dr. Hayes became a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, and in 2016 also became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Toxicology. Dr. Hayes has published several peer reviewed toxicology articles and book chapters, and has given toxicology lectures as well.
