How to Volunteer with the ASPCA FIR Team

The ASPCA Field Investigations and Response (FIR) team takes the ASPCA's commitment to animals to the very doorsteps where help is needed. Are you interested in joining us? Our volunteers use skill sets from all different walks of life, and we are always looking to welcome new committed and qualified responders to our team!

Deploying with the FIR team is tough but incredibly fulfilling work. Volunteers provide immediate, lifesaving help to animals in distress. Volunteers travel to FIR disaster and cruelty operations to offer support in a variety of roles during field rescue, crime scene processing and emergency sheltering.

Are you a good fit for the FIR volunteer team? Find out in this free 90-minute webinar, as the FIR team’s responder manager shares more details about our program, including:

  • What types of skills the FIR team needs
  • Review of pre-requisites and volunteer requirements
  • What happens after you sign up to volunteer
  • What you can expect if you deploy
